⭐ What is Key Word Signing?
Key Word Signing (KWS) is an Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) approach that combines spoken words with signs to highlight the most important words in a sentence.
The signs are inspired by Auslan (Australian Sign Language) and are used alongside facial expressions, gestures, and speech to support children who are:
