Lateral Control
The width is relatively ‘narrow’ allowing good lateral posture and control. This helps to ‘hold’ the user in a mid-line position. The raised position of the arm supports also help to 'bolster' the user laterally, facilitating free breathing to enable increased blood oxygen.

For users who experience extensor spasms or posturing, the foam properties in the Gravity Chair gently absorb the tension generated by the body, then once the user relaxes, the resilience of the foam brings the user gently back to the original supported posture.
Breathable or Wipe Down Cover Options
A fully wipeable cover option is available to assist with hygiene and cleaning where needed. Where management of temperature and thermoregulation is needed, the breathable cover option exists for maximum ventilation behind the user.
In both cases, a comfortable and breathable liner is provided as standard to assist with thermoregulation and moisture management.
