These core word picture communication symbols with Children’s key word signs are designed to assist pre verbal, non verbal / non speaking children or those who have communication difficulties. These cards are designed to compliment picture / visual communication symbols that may already be being used by your child. They are often very useful for autistic, ADHD or other neurodiverse children.
These flashcards have the symbol/ visual communication picture on one side and the sign picture with description on the other. Core words make up the majority of what we say, these 50 flashcards consist of 50 top core words that are also useful for first words we use as children. Signs include:

Please note: While Children’s key word signing uses Auslan signs, Auslan is it’s own separate language with its own grammar, vocabulary and Deaf culture associate with the language.
